To start you the school year off on the right foot, TRUSU brings you the biggest event of the year the Back-to-School BBQ. Hosted on the first Friday of school year, students, staff, faculty, and members from the broader community get together for the afternoon as we turn the campus into a huge BBQ bash.

Over one-hundred campus and community groups set up tables around the Campus Commons with information, free giveaways, and prizes. Music, entertainment, and games take place on the huge main stage throughout the afternoon, and of course there are free burgers, hot-dogs, and non-alcoholic beverages for everyone served by staff and faculty! This event is a great opportunity to see all the resources, products, and services available to you as a TRUSU member and connect with the campus and broader Kamloops community.
