This is part two of the series aimed to bring awareness to international students who are in Canada to study. Part one was on August 28 and is still available for viewing until September 28.

We would like to share an upcoming annual webinar for international students new to Canada that we are hosting.
Like previous years, this will be Part 1 and Part 2 will be in the 3rd week of September.
For part 1, we will have two presentations:

1) Bank of Canada - will go through the Canadian currency security features and counterfeit detection tips.

2) RCMP – FPPE will be presenting on background to policing for new comers and fraud trends international students should know.

Presenters and Their Topics:

1) The Canadian Border Services Agency will discuss common immigration fraud schemes you should be aware of.

2) Presenter from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s Federal Policing Prevention and Engagement will shed a light on illicit drugs and bring awareness to this important subject which is negatively impacting young people in British Columbia and beyond.

3) The Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s Federal Policing Prevention and Engagement will provide an overview of the top frauds affecting Canadians.
