Do you want to explore how things are similar or different from back home? Learn what is acceptable and not acceptable behavior in Canada, how to stay out of trouble while you are attending an educational institution. Joined by Safety Advisor to TRU.

This is the session that covers everything you need to know about study and work in Canada.

Part one - 9:30 to 10:00am will be about career and experiential learning, also known as a plan for Success. This session will help you to navigate on campus resources with Career Education and build your toolbox for future career goals.

*** exchange students can leave Grand Hall and join Study Abroad session together with visiting students at 10am.

Part two from 10:00 to 11:00am will explain the importance of visa/study permit and interpret the rules of working in British Columbia. International students` rights and responsibilities in an educational institution will be discussed.
